About Converse

Converse was founded in the USA in 1908. After the brand produced winter shoes in the first years, the now legendary basketball shoe "Converse All Star" came on the market in 1917. A short time later, the then famous basketball player Chuck Taylor became the name godfather of the new shoes, creating the current term "Chucks". Converse has now developed countless trainer models. The classic Chuck Taylor All Stars are one of the most successful shoes ever, with over 600 million pairs sold.
